Field Operations Technician

Join Xplore Inc. as a full-time Field Operations Technician in Fredericton, NB. You will handle network integration, repair, and maintenance while ensuring top-notch operational efficiency.

This permanent role reports to the Field Operations Manager and requires a self-starter who excels individually and in team settings. A strong background in IP networking and knowledge of fibre optic and fixed wireless deployments is essential. You'll act as the primary technical contact in the field for network construction and support, while being adaptable to a flexible schedule that involves on-call support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage hands-on network integration and maintenance tasks

• Interact with various organizational groups for project coordination

• Apply problem-solving and communication skills in technical support

• Implement telecom construction techniques including cable pulling

• Troubleshoot RF, fiber, and power connector issues

Requirements:

• 1-year related experience or relevant degree/diploma

• Valid Driver’s License required

• Strong knowledge of networking technologies

• Certified Fibre Optic Technician is a plus

• Ability to work outdoors in any weather conditions
