Field Operations Technician

Become a key part of Xplore Inc. as a Field Operations Technician in Fredericton, NB. This full-time role focuses on network integration, repair, and maintenance, requiring both technical and communication skills.

You will work closely with the Field Operations Manager to perform hands-on tasks related to the Xplore network. Your expertise will include IP networking, fixed wireless, and Fibre optic networks, ensuring robust broadband support for rural areas. Adaptability and strong problem-solving abilities are essential as you undertake various projects across the network.

Key Responsibilities:

• Integrate and maintain Xplore’s network infrastructure

• Execute repairs and support for network construction

• Collaborate with internal teams effectively

• Troubleshoot RF, Fiber, and power connection issues

• Follow occupational health and safety standards

Requirements:

• 1-year relevant experience or a degree/diploma

• Valid Driver's License

• Familiarity with networking technologies

• Experience with Fibre optic troubleshooting tools

• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
