Fredericton Field Operations Technician Job

Xplore Inc. is looking for a Field Operations Technician in Fredericton, New Brunswick. This full-time position centers on field network support and requires adept technical and communication skills.

As a vital member of the team, you will report to the Field Operations Manager. Your responsibilities will include daily integration, repair, and maintenance tasks vital for optimizing Xplore's broadband services. A strong understanding of IP networking and experience with Fibre and fixed wireless installations will set you up for success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee integration and repair of network infrastructure

• Provide in-field support for construction and maintenance

• Engage with multiple project teams to ensure effectiveness

• Address troubleshooting of RF, Fiber, and AC/DC systems

• Maintain adherence to safety regulations and protocols

Requirements:

• At least 1-year relevant experience or a degree

• Valid Driver's License required

• Competency in networking technologies

• Familiarity with network equipment and testing tools

• Adaptable to work in all weather conditions
