Apply diesel repair and computer diagnostics skills as an Apprentice Truck Mechanic with Valley Equipment Ltd in Fredericton, New Brunswick. Monday to Friday work.
This full-time apprentice position services large transport trucks at the Fredericton (Hanwell) location. You will repair commercial truck systems, inspect engines, and perform scheduled maintenance. The work includes chassis, engine, drivetrain, air brake, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Repair and replace commercial truck parts and components
- Inspect and test engines to locate faults
- Use hand and power tools for repairs
- Test repaired systems against manufacturer specifications
- Complete maintenance reports and discuss work orders
- Computer diagnostics and repair skills
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Truck Mechanic License considered an asset
- Previous dealership experience considered an asset
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and frequent bending
