We are working with the Controller of a global manufacturing company based in Bergen County, NJ. Experiencing rapid growth, they are looking to add a dynamic Cost Accounting Manager to their team. This company offers a competitive salary w/ benefits including a hybrid schedule and profit sharing plan!

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform cost and variance analysis for site purchasing and manufacturing operations
• Calculate and analyze the cost of goods sold (COGS) and product margins
• Analyze manufacturing costs and identify trends, inefficiencies, and outliers
• Provide actionable recommendations to improve processes and reduce costs
• Manage and monitor inventory controls and related accounting processes
• Assist in month-end inventory reconciliations and audits to ensure accuracy and compliance

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Finance
• 5+ years of Cost Accounting experience within a Manufacturing environment
• 2+ years of supervision experience
• Understanding of manufacturing variances, overhead absorption, and standard costs

PREFERENCES:

• CPA
• Experience building out Cost function from the ground-up
