21st CCLC After-School Program Part-Time Office Clerk (Grant Funded)
Reports to:
Nita M. Lowey 21st CCLC Project Director
Terms:
Monday through Thursday ~ 12:00 - 3:00 pm (12 hours per week) Effective September 2026 through June 2027
Job Goal:
To support the 21st CCLC Project Director in the efficient organization and operation of the program by performing a variety of clerical and administrative tasks.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma; college-level coursework in education or related field a plus
- Excellent communication skills with adults and children
- Effective computer skills; ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google Workspace
- Ability to speak, write, and translate Spanish (preferred)
- Required criminal history check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status.
Candidates Must Demonstrate:
- Attending to student program files, including creating and maintaining student program rosters
- Monitor and record students' daily attendance
- Program data entry to include daily attendance and surveys
- Translate documents (when applicable)
- General office duties, including organizing and maintaining program supplies
- Communicate with parents regarding student attendance
- Correspond with Site Supervisor to ensure program activities are functioning properly
- All other duties as requested by the 21st CCLC Project Director
Rate of Pay: $28.00 per hour
