CLERK 1 - Contract Clerical Assistant

The Monmouth County Counsel’s Office is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Contract Clerical Assistant to support our team. The ideal candidate would possess a strong skillset for processing, reviewing, and organizing various contracts and vendor agreements.

  • Assist in drafting, formatting, and proofreading standard contracts and legal agreements.
  • Track contract execution stages (signatures, revisions, and approvals).
  • Digitize, file, and index active and archived contracts.
  • Communicate with vendors and internal stakeholders regarding contract status.
AA Facilitator at MCCI
  • Two four-hour work days; facilitate three one-hour AA classes, including Open and 12 Step formats.
  • Meet with inmates on all housing units who wish to engage in additional AA services.
  • Provide AA literature to inmates upon request.
  • Provide information about AA meetings in the community to inmates who are scheduled for release.
  • Attend one-hour weekly Substance Abuse Services Staff Meeting per week; one-hour quarterly joint Staff Meeting with Substance Abuse Services and Social Services.

  • Assist the Division’s Fair Hearing Liaison person in preparing for administrative appeals by clients (Fair Hearings) when the Division denies or terminates a client from a welfare program such as Medicaid, Food Stamps (SNAP) or any housing program.
  • Represent the Division in such hearings.
  • Act as backup to the Fair Hearing Liaison and provide Division representation at Fair Hearings in absence of the Liaison.
