The Automotive Technician role is a full-time, on-site position located at Ray Catena of Freehold in Freehold, NJ. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing routine vehicle maintenance, diagnosing complex vehicle issues, and completing repairs on Mercedes-Benz vehicles in accordance with manufacturer standards. This role also involves accurately documenting work performed, collaborating with service advisors, maintaining a clean and organized work area, and providing clear communication about vehicle status and repair needs.

Technicians are expected to follow all safety protocols and contribute to a positive, customer-focused service environment.

• Demonstrated skills in vehicle maintenance and routine service procedures, including electrical and mechanical diagnosis.
• Experience in automotive repair and general maintenance & repair tasks, including basic diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of suspension systems, including inspection, repair, and replacement of key components.
• Experience working with luxury or European vehicles is an advantage.
• Ability to use diagnostic tools, follow technical service bulletins, and read repair manuals accurately.
• Strong attention to detail, commitment to safety, and ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented service department.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Mercedes-Benz experience preferred, but not required.
