About the Role:

The Director of Flavor Sales – Savory, Bakery, and Wellness Flavors is a strategic, customer‑focused leader responsible for driving revenue growth, developing new business, and strengthening key client relationships. This role requires a deep understanding of market trends, flavor innovation, and B2B ingredient sales. You will lead a sales team, collaborate cross‑functionally with R&D and marketing, and translate market opportunities into profitable growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute the sales strategy for savory, bakery, and wellness flavor solutions in alignment with corporate growth objectives.
  • Business Development: Identify and secure new business opportunities across target markets, including snacks, sauces, ready meals, plant‑based foods, and seasonings.
  • Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, understanding their innovation pipelines and delivering tailored flavor solutions.
  • Market Insights: Track industry trends, competitive activity, and consumer preferences to guide product positioning and pricing strategy.
  • Collaboration: Partner with R&D, marketing, and operations teams to ensure seamless project execution and customer‑driven innovation.
  • Performance Management: Lead, mentor, and develop the sales team to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
  • Financial Accountability: Manage sales budgets, forecasts, and key performance metrics.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Food Science, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • 10+ years of sales experience in flavor, ingredient, or food manufacturing industries, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of driving B2B growth in savory flavor applications.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship‑building skills.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required.
