Techno is seeking a Construction Manager to oversee day-to-day construction operations. This role is responsible for managing field activities, coordinating contractors and consultants, and ensuring work is performed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with contract documents and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership, technical expertise, and experience delivering large, complex infrastructure projects.

• Manage and oversee daily construction activities across assigned project areas.
• Coordinate with contractors, engineers, inspectors, and project stakeholders to ensure effective execution.
• Monitor schedule, cost, quality, and safety performance throughout construction.
• Ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, permits, and contractual requirements.
• Review and support approval of submittals, RFIs, change orders, and pay applications.
• Identify construction risks, issues, and conflicts; recommend and implement corrective actions.
• Lead or participate in progress meetings, coordination meetings, and site walks.
• Oversee field staff, including inspectors and support personnel, as applicable.
• Maintain accurate field documentation, progress reports, and project records.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
• 10+ years of construction management experience on large civil or transportation projects
• Strong knowledge of heavy civil construction means and methods
• Proven ability to manage contractors, schedules, budgets, and multidisciplinary teams
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
• OSHA 30 certification required or strongly preferred
• Experience with rail, tunneling, or underground construction projects a plus

The expected salary range for this role in New Jersey is $90 - $120 per hour. The total compensation, including salary and bonuses, is determined by various factors such as experience, skill level, location, and qualifications, which are evaluated during the interview process.
