Pam Dukes Track & Field Scholarship for Seniors

PAM DUKES TRACK AND FIELD SCHOLARSHIP (Freehold Township High School Students)

Two (2) scholarships ($400) will be awarded to one (1) female and one (1) male track athlete who are seniors graduating Freehold Township High School, pursuing a four-year college degree, and participating in track and field in college.

This scholarship was created to provide two track student athletes assistance while pursuing their college degree.

• Recipient must be a graduating senior from Freehold Township High School.
• Must be in good standing academically, and demonstrate achievement in the classroom.
• Applicant must be accepted to a 4-year university.
• Must have competed on the track and field team during his/her junior and senior years in school.

• Two (2) letters of recommendation, with at least one (1) authored by one of your teachers. These letters should address the applicant’s character, growth and level of professionalism.
• A current high school transcript
• An essay up to 2 pages addressing the following topics (see below):
• A description of yourself sharing your goals in the sport and why you should be considered for this scholarship?
• Include at least one or two of the most important lessons you’ve learned while competing in track and field.
