JAMES STEVENSON WARNOCK MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP: (Freehold High School Students)
Two (2) $1000 scholarships will be awarded to two graduating seniors from Freehold High School who plan on furthering their education at a two or four‑year college or university.
James Stevenson Warnock was a senior in the Class of 2007 at Freehold High School. On January 10, 2007, he was suddenly taken away from us in a tragic automobile accident. Outgoing, strong, and funny, those are three of the best words to describe James. His senior year was spent cheering on the sports teams to victory and enjoying his friends’ company.
Known for his “Boro” High School spirit, everyone knew the fans would be behind a game if James was there. As a student, he worked hard for the grades he earned and the college acceptance letters he received. James always had a smile on his face and could always make those around him smile no matter what was going on.
His family and friends meant everything to him. James touched so many lives in his very short time with us, and his love of life will live on forever in our hearts. This scholarship has been created as a way to honor his name so that students and teachers for years to come will remember him, his smile, his personality, and his spirit!
