The Peter Triozzzi Memorial Scholarship (FHS Athlete)
One (1) $500 scholarship will be awarded to one graduating senior from Freehold Boro High School. The scholarship will be awarded to a student‑athlete who demonstrates a strong commitment to sportsmanship, academics, displays outstanding school spirit, and serves as a positive leader within the school community.
This scholarship honors the legacy of Peter Triozzi, a proud supporter of Freehold Boro High School’s athletic programs, especially the wrestling team he loved so much. It celebrates students who, like Peter, show dedication, teamwork, and pride. Peter Triozzi was a devoted father and an unwavering supporter of his four children, all proud graduates of Freehold Borough High School. Each of his children was involved in athletics—wrestling, cheerleading, or soccer—and three also participated in the Culinary Arts Program, making FHS a central part of the Triozzi family story.
Pete believed deeply in the power of education and the importance of lifelong learning, values he encouraged in his children every day. In the stands, his passion and pride were unmistakable: he cheered with enthusiasm, celebrated every achievement, and supported every athlete, win or lose. Pete brought energy, heart, and a sense of community to every athletic event he attended.
He volunteered countless hours towards fundraising, especially for the wrestling program and dedicated his time and effort to help students succeed. Pete’s pride in his children, love of learning, and unwavering support for FHS athletics left a lasting and meaningful impact on everyone who knew him.
