Responsibilities of an Assistant Teacher include:
- Maintaining a safe, healthy, and nurturing learning environment
- Supporting children's social and emotional development
- Building positive family relationships
- Collaborating with the lead teacher and faculty
Qualifications:
- High school diploma required
- Associate or Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
- Empathy and compassion for children
- Dependable, adaptable, and team-oriented
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; for infants and toddlers, ability to lift infants safely into and out of cribs
