$60,415 - $99,170

  Education:
  
  Employ appropriate instructional and evaluative techniques and make use of instructional materials in the classroom.
• Subject Competency/Professional Growth: Take advantage of opportunities to enhance professional knowledge and instructional qualifications in the subject or teaching areas.
• Planning and Preparation: Responsible for appropriate planning and preparation for teaching classes.
• Classroom Control: Establish procedures of control and conflict resolution to maximize teaching time and minimize disciplinary action.
• Teacher‑Pupil Relationship: Develop a climate that enhances respect in teacher‑student relationships and among student peers.
• Classroom Management: Compile reports, maintain records and manage the physical environment of the classroom.
• Contribution to Total School Effort: Cooperate with administration and associates in school activities that enhance the operation of the school district.
• Curriculum Development: Actively participate in continuing curriculum evaluation and revision.
• Safety Program: Implement the district’s safety program to provide a safe environment in vocational education operations.
• Other Duties: Assume responsibility for other professional duties assigned by administration within the scope of employment and certification.

Ten‑month position in accordance with MCVEA contract.

Performance will be evaluated in accordance with the Board’s policy on evaluation of certificated staff.
