Technical Sales Representative – Industrial Water & Wastewater (Northeast Territory)

Are you a natural problem-solver who thrives in the field, building meaningful customer relationships and turning technical challenges into sales wins? We’re looking for a confident, sharp, and energetic Technical Sales Representative to drive growth across the Northeast for a fast-moving company specializing in high-performance water treatment solutions.
This isn’t your typical sales job. You’ll be the trusted advisor and go-to resource for industrial clients navigating complex water and wastewater treatment needs—think clarifiers, centrifuges, DAF units, and dewatering systems. If you’re passionate about optimizing systems, delivering measurable impact, and working shoulder-to-shoulder with plant operators, engineers, and buyers, this is your role.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Own your territory—build relationships, drive new business, and grow existing accounts across key industrial sectors.
- Deliver real value by applying your technical expertise to solve wastewater and process challenges on-site.
- Develop and execute sales strategies that prioritize customer satisfaction, long-term partnerships, and revenue growth.
- Provide hands-on support for polymer application systems, troubleshoot process issues, and help optimize equipment like belt filter presses, screw presses, and centrifuges.
- Partner with a collaborative team and Sales Director to hit and exceed targets.
- Craft tailored technical presentations and proposals that clearly communicate the "why" behind your recommendations.
- Prioritize safety, environmental compliance, and product stewardship in every interaction.
What You Bring to the Table
- Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field or business, with a strong preference for Chemical or Environmental Engineering backgrounds.
- At least 1 years of proven B2B sales success, ideally in water treatment, environmental services, or industrial process industries.
- Deep familiarity with clarification and dewatering equipment—if you're familiar with a centrifuge or DAF, we want to talk.
- Bonus points if you’ve worked with polymers in food processing, chemical, or dairy wastewater settings.
- Strong communication skills—you can break down technical concepts into clear value-driven messages.
- A self-starter attitude, natural curiosity, and a customer-first mindset.
- Comfortable traveling throughout your region (expect about 50% travel).
