We're seeking a Building Automation Systems (BAS) Engineer to join our growing engineering team. This is a primarily office-based position where you'll design, program, troubleshoot, and support sophisticated Building Automation Systems for commercial, industrial, healthcare, education, and institutional facilities.
Rather than spending your week driving from service call to service call, you'll play a key role in developing control strategies, programming advanced BAS platforms, supporting field technicians, and delivering high-performing HVAC automation systems from design through commissioning.

Responsibilities- Design and configure Building Automation and HVAC control systems
- Program and develop BAS applications using Niagara N4/JACE and Johnson Controls FX platforms
- Develop control strategies, sequences of operation, and project submittals
- Research equipment integration and communication protocols
- Troubleshoot DDC programming, BAS networks, and field device communications
- Interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and sequences of operation
- Provide remote technical support to field technicians during installation and startup
- Assist with commissioning activities and customer training when needed
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure successful project execution
- 3-7+ years of Building Automation Systems (BAS) or HVAC Controls experience
- Experience programming Niagara N4/JACE, Johnson Controls FX, or similar BAS platforms
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, DDC controls, and BAS integration
- AutoCAD experience creating or modifying control drawings
- Ability to read mechanical prints, electrical drawings, and wiring diagrams
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical problem‑solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Controls Engineering is a plus, but not required
- Primarily office-based position with minimal site travel
