We are seeking reliable and energetic individuals to join our Load In/Out Team for our events. This role involves assisting with the setup and breakdown of production equipment and décor at various event venues. This includes assisting our onsite team with unloading the truck, moving cases and bins, setting up lobby signage and taping cables.
This position requires punctuality, self-motivation, and a proactive attitude. While we provide training for all necessary tasks, we seek individuals who take the initiative and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Shifts are typically Friday (8 hours) and Sunday (5 hours)
- Thursday/Friday — travel to the event, load in quickly and turn a plain venue into a Journey event
- Sunday — late night load out, keep the energy high as you neatly pack everything up for the next weekend
- Seasonal employment with Journey Dance Competition Tour, January
- July - Must be available for Mandatory Team Training; Virtual
- December 11-13th, 2026;
In Person
- Jan. 8-10, 2027 - Must be willing to travel by road or air
- Must be 18 or older
- Must be available Fridays and Sunday evenings
- Paid training, travel, double occupancy lodging, and event meals
- Ability to drive is a plus
- Official government
- Background check required
Requirements
What Winning Looks Like:- Assist with load in and load out production equipment
- Work efficiently and collaboratively with the onsite team to meet event schedules
- Attend to all other duties assigned by the Event Director(s) as needed
- Availability on Fridays & Sundays
- Capable of thriving under pressure and adapting to evolving circumstances in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Reliable transportation to and from event locations
- Capable of lifting a min 30 lbs to 50 lbs without assistance
- Dance/Entertainment industry background is a plus but not required
