JCW has partnered with a fast-growing regional bank in their search for a Credit Underwriter. The ideal candidate will have a strong credit background with experience underwriting construction deals (new and existing). Responsibilities:

• Will spearhead underwriting and credit risk analyses to support construction loan requests.
• Work closely with Lending Officers, ensuring timely and accurate financial data.
• Review comprehensive credit risks and mitigations in succinct credit proposals for approval authorities.
• Be actively apart of Credit Committee and other relevant meetings.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of credit related experience within commercial credit or lending.
• Experience underwriting construction deals is a must!
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience using nCino and/ or Salesforce is a plus.
