Home Instead of Ocean County is actively recruiting CHHAs and CNAs to service our growing population of seniors within the entire Ocean County Region. The position requires travel to cases in Jackson, Lakewood, Toms River, Brick, Berkeley, Lakehurst, Point Pleasant, Mantoloking, Seaside Heights, Browns Mills, Forked River, Lanoka Harbor, Lacey, Waretown, Barnegat, Manahawkin, LBI, Little Egg Harbor, Stafford Township, Tuckerton and more!

• Earn a living wage while truly making a difference! Competitive wages starting at $20/hour and up to commensurate with experience and case type, location and shift time.

• All required PPE is provided by Home Instead, including masks and gloves.

• Provide companionship, conversation and emotional support to clients
• Ability to treat and care for aging adults and their property with dignity and respect
• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Assist clients with mobility and transfers
• Follow care plans and document client progress
• Ensure patient safety and maintain a clean and organized environment
• Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
• Administer medication and appointment reminders
• Alzheimer’s and dementia care
• Provide transportation to appointments/errands as needed

• Active NJ CHHA license or CNA license is REQUIRED!*
• Successful completion of a background check and drug screen
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• 2‑step PPD/tuberculosis test
• Physical exam completed within the past year
• Proof of MMR immunization

Job Type: We have a variety of cases available including part‑time hourly, full‑time hourly, evenings, overnights, weekend shifts, temporary and permanent Live‑In and well as Per Diem or Fill‑in/On‑call cases.

Hourly Rate $20/hour and up to commensurate with experience and case type/location/shift time.

Location: Offices in Lakewood and Waretown, NJ servicing the entire Ocean County region and parts of Northern Atlantic County.
