We’re seeking a Manager of Hospice Clinical Documentation who is passionate about accuracy, compliance, and clinical excellence.
In this leadership role, you’ll ensure hospice clinical records meet CMS, state, and accreditation standards while supporting high-quality patient care and appropriate reimbursement. You’ll guide documentation practices, conduct audits, educate staff, and partner with clinical, compliance, and quality teams to promote best practices and maintain audit readiness. This is an opportunity to lead meaningful improvements that directly support patients, families, and care teams.
ResponsibilitiesWhat You’ll Do:
- Oversee hospice clinical documentation accuracy, completeness, and compliance
- Conduct routine chart audits and analyze trends or deficiencies
- Provide real-time guidance to clinical staff on documentation standards
- Develop education, tip sheets, and training sessions
- Prepare audit reports and present findings to leadership
- Collaborate with quality, compliance, and clinical teams
- Assist with policy development and documentation workflows
- Support onboarding and training of new staff
What We’re Looking for in You:
We’re seeking a clinical leader who combines strong hospice expertise with a commitment to excellence in documentation and regulatory compliance.
- RN, BSN required
- 5+ years hospice experience; 2+ years leadership experience
- Expertise in clinical documentation review and regulatory standards
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
- Knowledge of reimbursement and compliance requirements
- CPMA certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Valid driver’s license
- Combination of office, field, and computer-based work
- Frequent collaboration with clinical teams and leadership
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
