We are seeking a developer candidate has experience in Fixed Income and front office E-trading system.

Responsibilities:

• Design & development of firm’s proprietary, high performance FI E-Trading platform encompassing fixed income all products (Credits/Rates).
• Understand RUN, Axes, RFQs workflow for Dealer to Client markets such as Market Axess, Trade Web, Bloomberg.
• Work alongside traders and quantitative analysts to specify and build out real-time trading applications that electronically execute orders across multiple ECNs.
• Supporting and enhancing existing infrastructure and application across a variety of technologies (ION, Java, Kdb).
• Drive implementation and design with emphasis on high availability, scalability and reusability.
• Working with other Fixed Income front office teams lead to promote framework reusability across all business.
• Champion best practice software development life cycle with emphasis in test driven coding methodology.
• Balance time to market (client delivery) with proper governance, compliance and audit mandates.

Requirements:

• BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering or related.
• 9+ years of financial service experience.
• Able to communicate effectively with the desk.
• Strong design, coding, testing and debugging skills.
• Strong experience in front office trading system with emphasis in E-Trading.
• Must have general Fixed Income Pricing and Analytic knowledge.
• Must have strong multithreaded programming experience.
• Must have knowledge of Client Markets Market Axess, Bloomberg, Trade Web.
• Must have knowledge of Credit Buy-Side/Sell-Side market structure.
• Knowledge of FIX protocol a plus.
• Knowledge of ION or Broadway API a plus.
• Knowledge of KDB/Q a plus.

Preferred, but not required:

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Exposure to containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
