Job Description:Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Warehouse Consultant with deep expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Power BI.
This role involves designing and managing scalable data warehouse solutions, developing insightful dashboards, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven solutions that support business goals in a dynamic, agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain data warehouse solutions on GCP using services such as Big Query, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Storage.
- Implement and optimize ETL processes for efficient data flow and transformation.
- Develop Power BI dashboards and reports, including agile metrics and custom forms.
- Ingest ODATA feeds into GCP, build logic within GCP, and visualize results in Power BI.
- Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with database administrators, Kafka engineers, data engineers, modelers, GCP specialists, and enterprise architects.
- Provide technical support, troubleshoot data issues, and enhance UI/UX in reporting.
- Implement advanced analytics and AI insights to support data-driven decision-making.
- Capture point-in-time data to support trend analysis and historical reporting.
- Pull data from diverse sources such as Planview, SharePoint, cloud storage, and dataflows.
- Contribute to documentation, best practices, and reusable data patterns.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in data warehousing and business intelligence.
- Extensive hands-on experience with GCP services (Big Query, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage).
- Proficiency in Power BI for data visualization and reporting.
- Strong SQL skills and experience with ETL tools and processes.
- Experience building agile metrics and forms within Power BI.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working in agile environments with rapidly evolving requirements.
- Familiarity with AI/ML, scientific data analysis, or advanced analytics.
- Exposure to enterprise data architecture and cross-functional collaboration.
