. This is a remote role that may only be hired in the following location: NJ.

Overview:
This position requires specialized technical leadership related to Adobe Experience Manager/Live Cycle, Mule Soft, and Biz Talk during the architecture, design, development, implementation, and support of assigned systems and applications. The candidate should have prior development experience with the above toolset along with .Net/Java frameworks. Must have advanced technical knowledge of the rail and equipment leasing industry. Directs decision‑making within technical projects to facilitate project planning, scope, and time estimates.

Trains less experienced associates and assists management in monitoring team performance. Collaborates with peers, managers, and cross‑platform teams to align projects and tasks with wider organizational goals.

Responsibilities
  • System Enhancement – Leads team efforts to evaluate and improve department systems, processes, and applications. Constructs modules, develops testing methods, and assists with designing training materials. Uses Scrum master skills to coordinate execution of test plans to validate application functions. Designs modifications that fit within existing system architecture.
  • Business Support – Provides technical support to production systems by addressing complex issues, anticipating maintenance requirements, and ensuring functionality for end‑user needs. Uses Agile methodology delivering technical solutions to unique system problems. Leads major projects, delegates tasks, and ensures quality results using SDLC tools Azure Dev Ops, Jira, and Confluence.
  • Technical Expertise – Mentors and trains associates within the work group. Participates in special projects and meetings as needed to convey critical technical insight. Coordinates tasks across onshore and offshore development teams. Works with 3rd party vendors for project resource needs.
  • Data Analysis – Collects data related to user requests and determines scope, time estimates, and system impacts. Inspects business specifications, programming specifications, coding, test plans, documentation, and implementation plans for accuracy. Tracks vulnerabilities, application exceptions, self‑identified issues, MRA requests, penetration and security application scans.
  • Provides 24/7 on‑call rotations.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree and 8 years of experience in technical work in application development, server administration, information security, or engineering OR High School Diploma or GED and 12 years of experience in technical work in those fields.
Preferred Experience
  • Current or prior certification in Mule Soft.
  • Current or prior certification Scrum Master.
  • Experience with Adobe Experience Manager/Adobe Live Cycle Designer for document generation.
  • Experience with Mule Soft Anypoint Studio.
  • Experience with .Net/Java frameworks.
  • Experience with Microsoft Biz Talk for Managed File Transfers.
  • Advanced technical knowledge of the rail and equipment leasing industry.
  • Advanced experience with modern technologies, technical leadership, systems development lifecycle, communication, and planning skills.
  • Advanced knowledge in working with leadership to define strategy and approach for solving complicated technical problems.
  • Proven ability to deliver solutions that solve complex problems, using thought leadership and independent thinking skills.
  • Ability to lead others in the successful execution and delivery of long‑term, multi‑layered projects and initiatives.
  • Ability to clearly articulate complex processes/situations to executive leadership.

Employment type:

Full‑time. Salary range: $116,000 – $160,000 (actual starting pay based on skills, experience, location, and other non‑discriminatory factors). Variable incentives, bonuses, benefits, and/or other awards may also be included.
