Responsibilities
Skills Must Have
- Minimum 8 years of experience as a Business Analyst
- Strong background in financial reference data and capital markets
- Proficient in SQL (querying, analyzing, troubleshooting)
- Data analysis and mapping skills
- College degree, specialized training, or equivalent experience
- Detail-oriented with a data-driven approach
- Understanding of business process reengineering, business modeling, and SDLC methodologies (Waterfall, Agile)
- Excellent analytical and writing skills, including functional and technical specifications
- Good communication skills with assertiveness
- Ability to produce high-quality work under pressure
- Knowledge of testing lifecycle, including SIT, UAT, and production environments
Nice to Have
- Experience with major vendor data providers (e.g., Bloomberg, Reuters, IDC, Markit)
- Project leadership experience
- Experience collaborating with IT project managers and development teams
- Knowledge of MS Excel and Visio
- Experience with vendor product implementation
