Business Analyst

We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Business Analyst to join our focused and nimble IT team within a fast paced Commercial Real Estate company. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver, adept at building and maintaining strong relationships with both internal stakeholders and external vendors. You will be expected to lead a variety of IT projects from inception to completion with minimal guidance, ensuring alignment with business objectives and delivering measurable results.

This role is meant for a critical thinker who can anticipate needs based on observation and involvement as the technology ecosystem and business needs are interconnected. The candidate must be able to employ change management at a behavioral, procedural, and technology level, garnering support from leadership and stakeholders to execute successfully in a transparent manner with regular communication throughout the lifecycle.

The candidate must be able to decipher and extrapolate needs from varying levels of stakeholders.

• Stakeholder Engagement Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders, gain a deep understanding of their needs, translate these into technical requirements, and ensure alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
• Vendor Management Collaborate with external vendors to ensure that services and products are delivered in accordance with agreed upon requirements and timelines.
• Project Leadership Independently manage multiple IT projects from end to end, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closing, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.
• Requirements Gathering Conduct comprehensive analysis to gather, document, and validate business and system requirements, ensuring they meet the business needs and are feasible for implementation.
• Solution Design Work closely with IT and business teams to design solutions that are cost effective, meet business needs, and align with the company’s strategic objectives.
• Change Management Lead change management initiatives to ensure successful adoption of new processes and technologies, including development of training and communication plans.
• Process Improvement Identify opportunities for process optimization and implement improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and increase stakeholder satisfaction.
• Risk Management Proactively identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery.
• Reporting Provide regular project status updates to stakeholders and senior management, highlighting key milestones, risks, and dependencies.

• Education Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications such as PMP or CBAP is an advantage.
• Experience 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within the Finance, Commercial Real Estate, or IT sectors.
• Technical Skills Adaptability to learn various software and data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, and business process modeling tools.
• Communication Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for a variety of audiences, including senior leadership.
