The Business Intelligence and Inventory Lead owns the company’s analytics and reporting function, serving as the central hub for data-driven decision-making across Sales, Operations, Marketing, Finance, and Product. This role oversees forecasting, pricing strategy, profitability analysis, and enterprise reporting, ensuring analytics initiatives directly support company objectives of sales efficiency, inventory optimization, and cost control. Owns the Power BI reporting ecosystem, drives cross-functional insights, and provides executive- and board-level visibility into performance metrics and strategic initiatives.
ResponsibilitiesAnalytics & Reporting Leadership
- Own and continuously enhance the enterprise Power BI reporting framework.
- Design and deploy actionable dashboards aligned with company KPIs.
- Automate recurring reporting processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual work.
- Improve data accuracy, validation controls, and reporting governance standards.
- Lead sales forecasting and performance modeling to support growth planning.
- Develop and monitor pricing models to ensure competitive positioning while protecting margins.
- Deliver profitability and contribution margin analysis across products and channels.
- Identify trends, risks, and opportunities impacting revenue and cost structure.
- Develop and manage inventory forecasts and demand planning models to ensure optimal stock levels.
- Identify opportunities to reduce excess and obsolete inventory while minimizing out-of-stock risks.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain to optimize inventory planning parameters and replenishment strategies.
- Monitor key inventory performance indicators (e.g., turnover, days of supply, fill rate) and provide actionable insights.
- Act as the analytics partner to Sales, Operations, Marketing, Finance, and Product teams.
- Translate business objectives into measurable performance indicators.
- Support executive and board-level decision-making through ad hoc analysis and strategic insight.
- Provide scenario modeling to guide pricing, inventory, and growth strategy decisions.
- Lead and develop a small global analytics team responsible for business intelligence and forecasting.
- Prioritize initiatives aligned with corporate objectives.
- Establish best practices for analytical rigor, documentation, and process efficiency.
- 5+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Analytics, or Data Management.
- Proven experience leading cross-functional analytics initiatives.
- Advanced proficiency in Power BI (data modeling, DAX, dashboard design).
- Strong SQL expertise and understanding of data transformation processes.
- Experience with forecasting models, pricing analysis, and profitability reporting.
