Regulatory Compliance Specialist
Currently interviewing for a Compliance Manager to work with our client in Tinton Falls, NJ. This is a temporary to permanent position.
The Compliance Manager ensures compliance responsibilities and related supervisory requirements are maintained. Ensure activities and materials comply with all company compliance and related policies and procedures and all relevant state rules, laws, and regulations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Achieve or maintain certification and compliance to ISO 9001 Quality System, GRACoL, Pantone Certified Printer, Sustainable Green Printer requirements.
- Understand, direct and assist managers for compliance to applicable statutory, regulatory and legal requirements.
- Understand, administer and maintain management policies in compliance to requirements.
- Identify and assist managers to document the business processes to support customer and other requirements. Be the voice for and champion of customer needs and expectations.
- Identify, maintain and distribute documents, records and communications for compliance with requirements.
- Maintain documentation of compliance activities.
- Administer the corrective action process and assist managers complete complaint identification and resolution.
- Assist managers to identify and implement process improvements.
- Conduct periodic internal reviews or audits to ensure procedures and activities are followed.
- Identify emerging technologies, products or systems and maintain awareness how they apply to process improvement and business growth/expansion.
- Inform and advise senior managers on the status of compliance activities.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
- 3-5 years regulatory or relevant business/operational experience.
- Strong technical and interpersonal skills are needed, as well as tolerance for shifting responsibilities and priorities.
- Comfort and agility in working with data and ability to identify issues/exceptions in data sets.
- Process management and workflow knowledge
- Excellent analytical abilities and problem solving skills
- A conscientious; detail-orientated nature
- Strong written and oral communication and interpersonal/relationship building skills
- Ability to collaborate across business units and corporate functions
- Strong technical skills, including extensive knowledge of all MS office applications
- Background in compliance, audit, business analyst
- Prior experience in a control position with a printing company a plus
