VP of Baby Division

This job is leading and overseeing the entire baby/infant team. You will be the head of design, sales, production and purchasing. The ideal candidate combines excellence in leadership, market knowledge, negotiation and is efficient, with a strategic vision and a collaborative approach.

• Lead sales team in working with customers and driving sales
• Have strong knowledge of the retail and Ecomm markets and competitors in each business category
• Work with merchandising and design teams to develop specific lines for customers
• Travel overseas to meet factories, develop and maintain relationships with them.
• Negotiate with the factories costs that fit in with management goals
• Oversee production teams follow up with factories as to quality, delivery, and technical details
• Oversee and manage 12 direct reports.

• 10 years experience in baby or infants
• Strong general management and leadership skills; ability to grow and manage a team and work well cross-functionally
• Experience in overseas sourcing and supplier relationship building
• Takes ownership, problem solves and demonstrates a high level of accountability
