Schedule: M-F, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM, plus two rotating Saturdays per month, 8:00 AM–12:00 PM
Our client is looking for a hands‑on Branch Manager to lead and grow their wholesale distribution operation in Freehold, NJ. This is a high‑impact role with responsibility for the branch’s sales growth, profitability, operations, inventory, warehouse, and team. The Branch Manager will play a key role in re‑engaging existing customers, developing new business, improving inventory accuracy, strengthening branch operations, and leading the team.

- Lead the day-to-day operations of the branch, including sales, warehouse, inventory, logistics, customer service, and administrative functions
- Own branch performance and profitability, partnering with leadership to review results, identify opportunities, and execute improvement initiatives
- Drive sales growth by developing new customer relationships and re‑engaging dormant and underperforming accounts
- Build strong relationships with contractors and other B2B customers and serve as a resource to the sales team.
- Lead, coach, and hold a team accountable for performance, customer service, and daily execution.
- Oversee warehouse operations, inventory accuracy, receiving, transfers, order fulfillment, and delivery coordination.
- Establish priorities and set the pace for the branch, ensuring commitments and initiatives are followed through.
- Monitor inventory and cycle counts, identify discrepancies, and implement corrective action.
- Ensure the branch, warehouse, vehicles, and surrounding property are safe, clean, organized, and operating efficiently
- Communicate regularly with company leadership and collaborate with other departments.
- High school diploma or GED required
- Supervisory or management experience required
- Wholesale distribution experience required
- Experience in plumbing/HVAC, electrical, or another contractor-focused B2B distribution environment required
- Proven ability to lead a team, establish accountability, and follow through on initiatives required
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills required
