SUMMIT Appliance, a Division of Felix Storch, Inc., is a private business located in the Bronx, NY, Edison, NJ, and Freehold, NJ. We manufacture and distribute major appliances, including vaccine, healthcare and life science refrigeration.

We are currently seeking a Light Manufacturing Assembler to join our Freehold, NJ team. This role will be responsible for the safe operation of various machines and equipment involved in production. Join us as we launch our new facility in Freehold.

• Component Assembly: fit, fasten, or glue parts together using hand tools, fixtures, or automated equipment based on standardized sequences.
• Blueprint Reading: read, interpret, and follow assembly drawings, schematics, and work instructions to ensure products meet exact tolerances.
• Quality Control: perform visual inspections and operational tests on assembled parts to identify defects or missing components.
• Material Handling: retrieve, stage, and organize parts and subassemblies, notifying supervisors of low inventory or malfunctioning equipment.
• Workplace Safety: maintain a clean, hazard‑free workstation, comply with all safety policies, and wear required PPE.

• Manual Dexterity: high level of hand‑eye coordination and fine motor skills to manipulate small or delicate parts.

  ability to read measurements (e.g., tape measure, calipers) and calculate dimensions.
• Physical Stamina: capacity to stand for extended periods, perform repetitive tasks, and lift 35 to 50 pounds.
• Attention to Detail: ability to spot minor assembly errors and adhere strictly to SOPs.
• Teamwork: willingness to collaborate with co‑workers and supervisors to meet daily production quotas.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least one year of related experience required.
• Completion of on‑the‑job training may be substituted for educational requirements.

• Prolonged periods working on feet, using tools, and performing repetitive actions that entail frequent bending and stooping.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
• Visual acuity to read instructions, operate machines, and inspect parts produced.

Compensation: $18–$19 per hour commensurate with education and experience

Schedule: Mon‑Thu 7:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m. and Fri 7:00 a.m.–11:00 a.m. Hours subject to change based on business needs.
