Job DescriptionDuration: 6+ month (with possible extension)
Responsibilities- Develop and manage short and medium term brand strategies under the stewardship of the Senior Brand Manager or Director.
- Build Brand equity as measured by annual brand share performance, brand loyalty, professional recommendation and perceived quality.
- Identify and pursue opportunities to drive professional recommendation of the brand.
- Develop strategies, tactics and lead execution of national brand programs, including consumer promotion, plus those designed to engage shoppers at retail or anywhere face-to-face consumer engagement is possible.
- Demonstrate critical thinking and an understanding of the plan impact on the business and our Trade customers.
- Work with key Sales teams to grow the business in key retailers by winning in the in-store environment.
- Collaborate with brand team to develop compelling consumer communication that is highly persuasive.
- Assist in the development and execution of comprehensive marketing plans that align with the brand strategy, including advertising, promotion, pricing and customer marketing strategy.
- Partner in development of Media Strategy and Plans and its integration into the Brand Planning cycle. Work with outside agencies to execute the plan.
- Partner in development of compelling consumer and shopper insights. Leverage key insights through consumer and retail marketing plans.
- Generate new ideas and take action to advance them.
- Use project management tools to process complex, multi-functional efforts. Develop timetables, manage interdependencies and drive projects to meet resource and time requirements, meeting the needs of internal customers in accomplishing objectives.
- Deliver written and oral communication to advance a point-of-view, provide analysis or update the level of knowledge.
- Demonstrate effective presentation skills. Present proposals/recommendations clearly and succinctly and manage discussion to obtain agreement.
- Manage defined projects establishing timetables and requirements. Drive for results and demonstrate an ability to keep managers up-to-date on projects.
- Perform analysis to understand the business and drive future opportunities.
- Focus on new marketing venues/tactics which drive brand consumption.
- Bachelor's Degree or commensurate work experience.
- Strong communications skills, with emphasis on oral presentations.
- Demonstrated level of analytical, planning and organization skills.
- Demonstrated level of creativity aligned with marketing or sales programs.
- 1 to 2 years Consumer Products marketing experience
- MBA
- Prior experience in Consumer Sales or Medical Marketing.
