Under the direction of the Senior Director of Youth Development, the Associate Program Director will be responsible for managing select activities associated with our Arts & Humanities, Scouting, Youth and Family events, and Camp Programs at our Somerset Hills YMCA, including the administration of these programs to ensure that they create opportunities for youth development, healthy living and social responsibility.
- Associate’s degree in education, Recreation, or equivalent experience.
- 2-3 years’ experience directing youth programming with a focus on School Age Child Care and Summer Camp.
- Supervisory experience preferred
- Must have flexibility to work a non-traditional work schedule with expectations to work evenings and some weekends.
- Has solid working knowledge of Microsoft Word/Excel as well as good administrative skills.
- Current CPR/AED and First Aid certification or obtain within 30 days of hire.
