Thriveworks is currently seeking licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners to provide care in Red Bank, New Jersey. Candidates must hold active licensure in New Jersey and reside in the state.

Compensation is fee‑for‑service (W2) with an annual range of $141,000–$203,000 based on 25–35 clinical hours per week. Clinicians offering 30+ hours of availability per week are eligible for a competitive ramp stipend.

Thriveworks maintains safety and best practices through telemedicine. The company does not push or incentivize stimulant medications; these are prescribed at the clinician’s discretion. Substance use disorder cases are not treated and are referred to in‑person providers when indicated.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct in‑person intakes and follow‑ups with clients every 90 days.
  • Perform psychiatric assessments and evaluations in both in‑person and telemedicine settings.
  • Treat clients aged 14 and older.
  • Prescribe medication to reduce mental health symptoms as needed.
  • Create and collaborate with clients on individualized care plans.
  • Complete necessary paperwork and assessment tools for clients.
  • Adhere to Thriveworks Clinical Practice Guidelines.
  • Consult with Regional Clinic Directors and staff on clients, programs, and services.
Qualifications
  • Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner—Board Certification required.
  • Master’s in Nursing with active prescriptive authority in New Jersey.
  • Understanding of AdvancedMD (AMD) EMR preferred.
  • Three years of experience preferred; minimum one year of psychiatry practice required.
