Position: (USA) Member Specialist (Sat & Sun Required)

Position Summary

Position summary of the Member Frontline Services Associate role.

What You’ll Do
  • Provide member service and assists with member purchases.
  • Maintain the checkout area and handle sales transactions.
  • Resolve member issues and concerns promptly.
  • Promote Sam’s Club products and services.
  • Guide and support members regarding self‑service technology.
  • Process member purchases, payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges according to company policies.
  • Follow company safety standards, procedures, and conduct safety sweeps.
  • Follow proper procedures for handling merchandise and report unsafe situations.
  • Maintain entrance areas, acknowledge members, verify membership cards, and identify member needs.
  • Assist members with purchasing decisions and locating merchandise.
  • Zone and arrange merchandise, maintain a safe shopping environment.
  • Maintain exit areas, review member receipts, and assist in securing Sam’s Club assets.
  • Maintain paperwork, logs, and other required documentation.
  • Execute emergency response procedures and ensure compliance with security and safety practices.
  • Assist with training new associates on company processes and procedures.
  • Teach new technology and tool functionality.
  • Deliver new program rollout training and provide continuous learning and process improvement opportunities.
  • Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity.
  • Complete work assignments and priorities using policies, data, and resources.
  • Collaborate with managers, co‑workers, customers, and business partners to identify priorities and communicate progress.
  • Determine and recommend ways to address improvement opportunities and adapt to change.
  • Embrace differences in people, cultures, ideas, and experiences.
  • Work as a team, build strong relationships, and communicate with impact, energy, and positivity.
  • Mentor and develop others, recognize contributions and accomplishments.

The hourly wage range for this position is $19.00 to $27.00 per hour. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the applicable minimum wage for the job location.

  • Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Retail experience including operating front‑end equipment (e.g., cash register).
  • Experience working with mobile retail applications.
