Assistant Store Manager - Spencer's (Freehold, NJ)

Hourly rate ranges from $17.92 – $18.17 per hour, dependent upon qualifications and experience.

Physical demands require in excess of 8 hours of standing, walking, climbing ladders, and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities:

• Establish and maintain Guest Services.
• Support the Store Manager in all tasks involved in the overall operation of a store, ensuring maximum sales and profitability.
• Develop staff, control expenses and shrinkage.
• Oversee all aspects of merchandising and inventory control in adherence with company policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Minimum age 18.
• Prior retail and/or management experience required.
• Ability to stand, walk, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 pounds for over 8 hours.
