A&P Mobile Service Unit (Thur-Sun) – Teterboro, NJ

Textron Aviation is hiring a full‑time A&P mechanic or AMT to serve as a Mobile Service Technician. The role is critical to our mission; we offer a competitive total rewards package and a $15,000 sign‑on bonus.

• Maintain and repair aircraft, diagnose mechanical issues, and coordinate with crew and customers.
• Assist the lead mechanic to ensure customer satisfaction and keep the service vehicle in top condition.
• Perform diagnostic and mechanical duties on various aircraft models, including disassembly, repair, replacement, reassembly, and adjustment of systems.
• Verify compliance with FAR 43 documentation requirements and maintain accurate written reports.
• Order and manage parts, returning cores as per established procedures.
• Ensure all maintenance and preventive actions comply with Quality Control procedures and correct unsafe acts.
• Collaborate with mechanics and avionics technicians to meet customer expectations.
• Inspect, maintain, and service equipment and tooling in the mobile service vehicle, ensuring safe operating condition and proper fluid levels.

• High school education or GED required.
• A&P License is required.
• Knowledge of inspection procedures set forth in FAR Part 145 is required.
• A minimum of 3 years of diversified jet, turboprop, piston, or modification aircraft/flight maintenance experience.
• Experience on Cessna, Beechcraft, or Hawker aircraft is preferred.

In compliance with the local pay transparency law, the pay range for this position is $48.30 - $60.85 per hour.
