We are seeking a Full Stack Developer with strong PHP and SQL skills to help modernize our legacy systems. You’ll work in a small, collaborative IT team, starting with smaller projects to get up to speed and gradually taking ownership of larger initiatives, including rewriting COBOL applications into PHP.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with IT team members on development projects (including pair programming for onboarding).
- Rewrite legacy COBOL applications into modern PHP solutions.
- Build scalable, maintainable, and generalized programs for long-term use.
- Integrate and manage APIs based on client requests (e.g., Tik Tok, Shopify).
- Solve complex technical challenges and provide creative solutions.
- PHP (primary language)
- SQL / MySQL
- Linux server familiarity (nice-to-have)
- Strong understanding of SQL joins and link servers
- Git-based code deployment (server management handled by others)
- FTP
- jQuery
- HTML
- Tabulator.js
- Experience integrating and managing APIs (Tik Tok, Shopify, or similar)
- Hybrid work model with 3 days onsite at Freehold, NJ
