• Teach swimming to children (no competitive swimmer required).
• Work in a heated indoor pool.
• Play and interact with kids for about 30 minutes.
• Smile, give high‑fives, and sing songs.
• Show up on time for all scheduled shifts.
• Communicate with team members via texts, emails, and phone calls.
• Pass a background check.
• Have reliable transportation.

High school diploma or GED preferred.

• Preferably hold Lifeguard, CPR/AED, and First Aid certifications. If not, you must be willing to obtain them; training may be paid for.

While we teach swimming to people of all ages and abilities, most of our students are preschool and elementary‑aged kids. Instructors should enjoy working with this age group and be good at making parents feel comfortable. Having experience with children or a child‑focused job is helpful but not required if you can show the right attitude. This position comes with specialized training in our advanced and unique British Swim School approach.

We also have exciting opportunities with our Customer Service Team, even if you’re not in the pool. These roles involve talking to parents on the phone or by the pool, aiming to make everyone feel like part of the British Swim School Family.
