Position SummaryOur Freehold, NJPlant is looking for a self-motivated, reliable, and detail-oriented
Inventory Control Specialist tobe part of our growing team. People that take the initiative and action to pursue production line goals and complete tasks. People that are thorough and accurate in accomplishing tasks. People that hold a high standard for safety, quality, production, and teamwork.
- Coordinate and oversee the daily cycle count process to ensure inventory accuracy within the established standards
- Analyze and reconcile all variances reported from the daily cycle count process and those reported from daily operations in a timely manner
- Verify cycle counts against physical counts of inventory and investigate and report reason for discrepancies
- Monitor, maintain, and update system(s) inventory related and departmental reports to always ensure inventory accuracy daily
- Conduct annual physical inventory
- Perform weekly random inventory audits as an additional tool to ensure inventory related activities and practices are being followed in accordance with all established procedures

- Perform necessary inventory reconciliation and adjustments for items that are due to picking or replenishing errors to ensure inventory accuracy within our system - Run reports to determine lot control products that require disposal, or testing to extend expiration dating
- Responsible for reporting any safety hazards, unsafe working conditions or suspicious activities/people to the Plant Manager, security, safety committee member or any management team member
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area keeping a constant watch for any safety issues
- Process all returns
- Analyze inventory levels of the In-transit, Adjustment and Shipment warehouses and locations (3PL).
- Counting and reconciling randomly chosen part numbers and/or locations.
- Coordinating the disposal and adjustment of SMOG (Slow Moving Obsolete Goods) items.
- Analyze trucking needs for shuttle shipments (3PL).
- Enter all customer South America orders into the customer portal
- Work with planning to ensure we have product for customer orders by the requested dates.
- Create excel packing lists for required customer orders
- Create commercial invoices for required customer orders
- Work with the customer and their broker to get the orders scheduled for pickup
- Ensure all scans are completed off every work order
- Complete warehouse KPI’s
- All work orders errors are cleared on a daily basis
- Other duties as assigned

- Using required PPE properly.
- Participating in safety training and meetings.
- Following lockout/tagout, machine guarding, hazard communication, emergency response, and other required safety practices.
- Stopping work or escalating concerns when an unsafe condition exists.
