We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented Graphic Designer & Content Specialist to create professional visual content across multiple brands and business lines. This is a hands‑on creative role focused primarily on graphic design, with opportunities to work on video, photography, digital content, websites, and other marketing projects.
The ideal candidate has a strong design eye, understands layout, typography, and visual consistency, and can take creative direction and turn it into polished, professional materials. You should be comfortable managing multiple projects, adapting designs across different formats, and learning new tools and technology.
You do not need to be an expert in every area listed below. We are looking for a strong designer who is adaptable, resourceful, organized, and interested in expanding their creative skill set.
This position is full-time and on-site in Freeport, Illinois. It is not a remote or hybrid position.
What You’ll Create Graphic Design & Creative Production- Social media graphics and digital advertisements
- Flyers, brochures, and promotional materials
- Sales and marketing collateral
- Presentations
- Signage and event materials
- Email graphics
- Website graphics
- Branded templates and internal materials
- Campaign assets adapted into multiple sizes and formats
You will work within established brand guidelines and creative direction while helping maintain a professional and consistent look across multiple brands.
Video, Photography & Digital ContentYou will also have opportunities to help create engaging digital content, including:
- Shooting and editing short-form videos, reels, interviews, testimonials, tutorials, and promotional content
- Capturing photos and video at company events, conferences, and other marketing opportunities
- Editing video with appropriate pacing, captions, music, graphics, and brand elements
- Repurposing existing content into new formats for social media and digital campaigns
This role will also provide creative support for broader marketing initiatives, including:
- Making routine Word Press website updates such as changing text, images, links, and forms and creating landing pages
- Preparing and formatting content for social media platforms
- Assisting with basic writing, editing, and proofreading for social media, websites, emails, and video scripts
- Conducting light research to support creative projects and campaigns
- Using AI and emerging technology to generate ideas, improve productivity, repurpose content, and streamline creative workflows
- Reviewing AI‑assisted work for accuracy, quality, and brand consistency
- Strong graphic design skills with an understanding of layout, typography, composition, and visual hierarchy
- Ability to create polished, professional work within established brand guidelines
- Proficiency in Canva and experience with Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop and Illustrator
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and consistency
- Ability to manage multiple projects and changing priorities
- Strong organizational, communication, and time‑management skills
- Ability to receive creative direction and feedback and apply it effectively
- Self‑motivated, resourceful, and comfortable learning new tools and processes
- Degree in graphic design, marketing, communications, or a related field or equivalent professional experience and portfolio
Experience in all of these areas is not required
, but we’d love to hear about any additional experience you have with:
- Adobe Premiere Pro or other video editing software
- Short‑form video and social media content
- Photography, lighting, audio, or video production
- Word Press
- Email marketing platforms
- Social media scheduling tools
- Digital advertising platforms
- AI‑powered creative and productivity tools
A portfolio or 3–5 examples of graphic design work is required for consideration.
We want to see what you can create. Examples may include social media graphics, advertisements, brochures, branding materials, presentations, digital campaigns, or other relevant design work.
Video, photography, web, or other digital content samples are also welcome.
