Pulmonary Physician System, Freeport IL - $425,000 to $500,000

Overview

Mercyhealth System in Freeport, Illinois, is seeking a Full-Time Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Pulmonary Physician to join our expanding team.

• Full-Time Position
• Includes weekends and holidays

• Pulmonary Inpatient and Outpatient
• Mediteach EMR—Converting to Epic in October

• Level 2
• 8 Bed ICU
• Typical diagnoses include post-op general surgery, mechanical ventilation, sepsis, substance abuse/withdrawal, and DKA
• Open ICU with a strong Hospitalist team
• High acuity to transfer to JBH and MHTC

• MD/DO Board Certified or Board Eligible
• Fellowship trained in Pulmonology
• Eligible for Illinois medical licensure
• Strong clinical expertise in high-acuity ICU settings
• Ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams

Base Salary: $470,000 to $500,000

• Retention and/or sign-on bonus
