Critical Care Physician, Pulmonologist
Position Overview
Full‑Time Board‑Certified/Board‑Eligible Critical Care Physician. Inpatient nocturnist opportunity practicing high‑acuity critical care. 2,184 annual hours, 7 on/7 off 12‑hour shifts (7:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m.) both in‑house and Tele‑ICU. Includes weekends and holidays.

- Pulmonary Outpatient – additional incentives
- Mediteach EMR – converting to Epic in October
Level 28 Bed ICU. Typical diagnoses: post‑op general surgery, mechanical ventilation, sepsis, substance abuse/withdrawal, and DKA. Open ICU with a strong Hospitalist team, high acuity, transfer to JBH and MHTC.
Required Qualifications- MD/DO Board Certified or Board Eligible
- Fellowship training in Pulmonary/Critical Care
- Eligible for Illinois medical licensure
- Strong clinical expertise in high‑acuity ICU settings
- Ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams
- Base Salary: $470,000 to $500,000
