Believe In The Children is dedicated to supporting at‑risk children by providing education and resources to the adults in their lives. The organization operates the 310 Sibling Home, offering temporary care to multiple siblings as a compassionate alternative to traditional foster care for families in crisis. With the addition of the Youth Enrichment Center in 2021, Believe In The Children expanded its services to support teens and young adults facing the challenges of adulthood.

Focused on the needs of children and the community, the organization continuously adapts its programs to ensure the highest level of care and support.

Role Description

This is a part‑time on‑site role based in Padwat Northwest for a Parent Educator/Coach. The individual in this role will provide parenting education and training, facilitate skill‑building workshops for parents, and support families in enhancing healthy communication and relationships. They will also engage in case management activities to assess and address family needs. The Parent Educator/Coach will act as an advocate for children’s well‑being by implementing strategies that align with developmental psychology principles and promote optimal family dynamics.

Qualifications
  • Strong expertise in Parent Education and Parenting Skills Training
  • Experience in Case Management, including family needs assessment and support
  • Excellent Communication skills to foster relationships and deliver impactful workshops
  • Knowledge of Psychology principles as applied to child and family development
  • Ability to work collaboratively and empathetically with diverse families
  • Organizational and time‑management skills for managing multiple cases
  • Experience in social services, education, or a related field is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Education, or related discipline, or equivalent experience
