About the Job

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Travel Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our rehabilitation team for contract assignments. In this role, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide high-quality, patient-centered care across diverse clinical settings.

• Work under the guidance of a licensed Occupational Therapist to implement individualized treatment plans

• Assist patients with therapeutic activities to improve independence in activities of daily living (ADLs)

• Provide hands-on therapy focused on functional mobility, strength, coordination, and safety

• Monitor patient response to treatment and report progress or concerns to the supervising Occupational Therapist

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary rehabilitation team to support optimal patient outcomes

• Educate patients and caregivers on techniques and strategies to encourage continued progress

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with facility policies and state and federal regulations

• Ensure a safe, organized therapy environment and proper use of equipment

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program

• Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in the state of assignment

• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience preferred (SNF/LTC experience a plus)

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and patient populations
