About the Role:

As a vital member of our medical records team, you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and accessibility of patient medical records.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and supervise the organization of electronic and paper-based medical records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and industry best practices.
• Accurately process, retrieve, and update patient medical records in a timely and efficient manner, while maintaining attention to detail and confidentiality.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and other medical staff, to obtain and verify accurate patient information.
• Maintain and improve records management systems, processes, and procedures to ensure optimal efficiency and patient care.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to medical records management.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required;
  Medical Records experience or certification (e.g., RHIT, CCMA) highly desirable.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with healthcare professionals and patients.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information.
