Key

Qualifications:
  • Active Illinois SLP License required
  • Professional Educator License (PEL) for Speech-Language Pathology in Illinois required
  • Previous experience in a school setting, particularly with elementary-aged children, is highly desirable
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to adapt to diverse student needs in an educational environment
Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct speech and language therapy to elementary students
  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and families to maximize student success
  • Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports for each student in accordance with state and district guidelines
  • Serve as a resource and advocate for students communication needs within the school
