ERP Support Specialist; Construction ERP​/Viewpoint

Seeking an ERP Support Specialist to provide technical and functional support for its Viewpoint ERP platform and related applications. This position is responsible for troubleshooting user issues, supporting accounting and project management teams, assisting with ERP implementations and improvements, creating training materials, and helping optimize business processes across the organization. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys technology, problem-solving, and working closely with both IT and business teams within the construction industry.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support for Viewpoint Vista, HR, Financial Controls, Field Tools, and integrated ERP applications.
• Troubleshoot technical and functional ERP issues submitted through the IT Help Desk.
• Work closely with the Director of Accounting Technology to resolve system problems and improve ERP functionality.
• Utilize Viewpoint Knowledge Base and Viewpoint Academy for issue resolution and continuous learning.
• Assist with ERP implementations, upgrades, integrations, and technology initiatives.
• Learn and assist with Crystal Reports and basic SQL reporting.
• Help standardize accounting and project management processes across the organization.
• Collaborate with operations managers on process improvements and software rollouts.
• Create user documentation, training guides, and instructional materials.
• Train and support new employees on Viewpoint ERP functionality and daily workflows.
• Maintain accurate documentation while ensuring attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience supporting ERP software or enterprise business applications.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Familiarity with Microsoft Copilot Studio and AI Agents is preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Knowledge of construction accounting, job costing, or the construction industry is preferred.
• Experience with Crystal Reports or SQL is a plus.
