Job DescriptionThe Zurn Elkay Business Systems (ZEBS) Specialist provides support to the Zurn Elkay Business System, practically applying lean operations, lean growth initiatives and Six Sigma tools to support the corporate team. The role will play a key part in analyzing and improving our manufacturing and distribution network to offer best‑in‑class service, maximize cash flow and minimize costs. The position is based onsite at our Freeport, IL facility.
KeyAccountabilities
- Learn the ZEBS Blueprint, adopt the standards, and uphold expectations.
- Support site initiatives to drive ZEBS adoption and associate participation.
- Document best practices and build a sharing platform for associates.
- Facilitate daily management for the ZEBS team across all key metrics.
- Identify and propose site solutions to minimize and manage resource constraints.
- Facilitate and support lean processes in accordance with the organization’s Lean Implementation Plan (ZEBS Trainings, Boot Camps, Standard Work, 6S, Value Stream Mapping, Problem Solving, Kaizen and Pull Principles).
- Lead the ZEBS Continuous Improvement program, prioritizing top opportunities to implement best practices.
- Support Strategy Deployment processes by ensuring core deliverables translate to roadmaps and adherence is maintained.
- Facilitate problem solving to address and resolve problems in a systemic way.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 4+ years of experience in a process‑based environment with assignments in lean/continuous improvement.
- Proven track record of driving results.
