Continuous Improvement (ZEBS) Specialist
As a Continuous Improvement (ZEBS) Specialist at Zurn Elkay Water Solutions Corporation, you will support the practical application of lean operations, lean growth initiatives, and Six Sigma tools to drive process excellence. The role will involve tactical implementation of all elements of the Zurn Elkay Business System, consolidating information to develop and propose operations strategy, and tracking and overseeing projects and action plans across multiple functions.
This position will be based onsite in our Freeport, IL facility.
- Learn the Zurn Elkay Business System and the ZEBS Blueprint, adopt the ZEBS standards, and apply and uphold the expectations set by these standards.
- Support site initiatives to drive ZEBS adoption and associate participation (including process experts) through the business.
- Document best practices in company and build sharing platform for associates.
- Facilitate daily management for the ZEBS team along all key metrics.
- Identify and propose site solutions to minimize and manage resource constraints.
- Facilitate and support lean processes in accordance with the organization’s Lean Implementation Plan (ZEBS Trainings, Boot Camps, Standard Work, 6S, Value Stream Mapping, Problem Solving, Kaizen and Pull Principles).
- Lead the ZEBS continuous improvement program through associate participation and prioritizing top opportunities to implement best practices.
- Support Strategy Deployment process by ensuring core deliverables are translated to roadmaps and adherence is maintained.
- Facilitate problem solving to address and resolve problems in a systemic way.
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- 4+ years of experience in a process-based environment with assignments in lean/continuous improvement.
- Proven track record of driving results.
